America’s Little Angel

I am walking with Jesus and he loves me so!
He cradles me and laughs with me and he even tickles my toes.
This place is called heaven and it is so pretty and bright!
There is never darkness; there is only light!
I am happy here ‘cause I get to pick flowers all day!
I have new friends and we love to laugh and play.
Jesus is always watching over me, you see!
I even get to play and climb my favorite tree!
Everyone loves me here and there is so much to do!
I can run on the streets of gold without any shoes!
There is no sickness or sadness: you never see tears.
It’s been my home now for many years!
Jesus gave me wings because of his great love!
I am now a heavenly angel watching from above!
I don’t remember much about my earthly home.
But you all should keep praying to keep strong!
Thank you all for loving me from the start!
I know that you miss me and you were praying with all your heart!
So one day we will all be here in heaven together!
Just remember Jesus said, “Love and protect the children forever!”
